IAFT Student

Tra, Performing Arts program:

I am Tra, from Vietnam. It was by chance that I found IAFT and its Acting program, but I am glad I decided to join it. The course gives me basic yet practical knowledge and skills on acting. I enrolled in the Acting program to understand what I need to learn to become a better actor. My teacher, the work and the environment keep me inspired to keep trying. I simply love it!

Life in school is “cute'”. I live within campus area, so my daily activities although framed by the campus' orange wall, is conveniently organized. I have real quick access to classrooms, administrative offices, outlets, etc., We have a canteen, a cafe and a tiki bar, which provides good food and chance to talk to cool people. It's even more fun when that group of cool people cooks and eats together. It is warm, open, and well, it is food. Lovely!

Besides homework and students' projects, I keep myself busy with two other things: going around Cebu and wrapping myself with the peaceful beat of the place. Jeepneys, the prevailing local transport, offer fast rides at surprisingly low prices and you also get the hint of local culture. As for the second activity, I find myself a spot without many people, looking to the sea and just let my mind wander in relaxation. I guess that's the benefit of being next to the beach. You got the heat, but you also benefit from the view. And that definitely counts in my favor of the school.

It was worth for me to come here and do what I'm doing now. It's been so long since the last time I enjoyed studying. :)
